The third graders at Delware Valley Elementary School are already having fun learning. Recently, the school district shared a fun STEAM activity that took place in Adrianna Nelson’s third-grade class during the first week of school. STEAM stands for science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics.
The students were given one sheet of paper and 10 pieces of tape. They were allowed to use scissors, but nothing else. They worked in small groups to make the largest paper chain possible. “This was an awesome community building activity, while also having the students think outside the box!” the school district stated.” Great job, Ms. Nelson!”
