Township names new zoning officer
Milford. Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau seeks volunteer help for spring cleaning.

Changes to zoning personnel were discussed at the March 17 Milford Township Supervisors meeting. Duane Kuhn will be offered the position of zoning officer. He brings many years of experience with local zoning boards. Mike Repecki’s resignation from the zoning hearing board was accepted and approved.
The zoning hearing board needs members and alternates. Township residents who would like to join the board should send a letter of interest to the Township. On a sad note, a moment of silence was observed for Phyllis Simpson who served on the Milford Township Zoning Hearing Board. Simpson passed away on March 14.
Federal staffing
The supervisors will be reaching out to federal legislators regarding the federal properties of Grey Towers and the Delaware Water Gap recreational area. Supervisors are seeking answers on maintenance of the properties and staffing concerns.
