Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk announces winners

Two hundred and forty runners/walkers came out in 38-degree temperatures on Nov. 16 to complete the 3.1-mile course at Delaware Valley High School for its Turkey Trot 5K Run/Walk.
John Russo of Milford, DV High School junior and cross country captain, was the overall winner with a time of 18:16.
Tiffany Leventhal of Honesdale was the top female finisher with a time of 20:35.
Key Food Marketplace in Milford donated the frozen turkeys that John and Tiffany received for their first-place finishes.
This annual event supports the DV cross country program and local food pantries. Participants donated 358 nonperishable food items for the pantries.
