The public is invited to attend a coffee event with U.S. Rep. Matt Cartwright from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 21, at the Bushkill Volunteer Fire Company, 124 Evergreen Drive, Bushkill. Cartwright is a member of House Democratic Leadership and the House Committee on Appropriations. He serves as vice chair of the Commerce-Justice-Science Subcommittee and is a member of Financial Services and General Government and Military Construction-VA Appropriations Subcommittees. He also serves on the Committee on Natural Resources. He represents Pennsylvania’s 8th Congressional District, which includes Lackawanna, Wayne, and Pike Counties and portions of Luzerne and Monroe Counties.
