Working Pike Job Fair returns April 1
Matamoras. Employers looking to have a table at the upcoming job fair must register by March 21.

With more than 70 employers from across the tri-state area expected to participate, job seekers will find opportunities at the eighth annual Working Pike Job Fair on Tuesday, April 1 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Best Western Inn at Hunts Landing, 120 US-6, Matamoras.
The event is set to host employers from across the tri-state offering positions ranging from entry-level to managerial roles in a variety of sectors including healthcare, hospitality, law enforcement, sales, and more. There is no fee for job seekers and no RSVP necessary.
“Whether you are beginning a new career or just exploring your options, the Working Pike Job Fair has something for everyone,” said Cindy DeFebo, Workforce Development Agency director. “Attending Working Pike allows you to meet employers in person, learn about local positions, and discuss your credentials. We hope to see you on April 1 at the Best Western Inn.”
Working Pike is a group comprised of economic and government agencies, community and faith-based organizations dedicated to building a stronger community.
This year’s Working Pike sponsors include Lackawanna College Lake Region Center, Pocono Mountains Visitors Bureau, Bold Gold Media Group, Neversink Media, and the Best Western Inn at Hunts Landing.
The Workforce Development Agency is also available to assist with updating resumes prior to the fair and may also be able to provide professional attire from its clothes closet. To schedule an appointment, contact the office at 570-296-2909.
Call for employers
Employers can still register to have a table at the upcoming Working Pike Job Fair. Registration Forms are available on the Workforce page of the county website: pikepa.org/workforce.
The registration fee for employers is $60 with the option to pay by credit card or check. Employers who choose to pay online by credit card will incur a 3% processing fee. Employer registration ends Friday, March 21, 2025.
