Lackawaxen. Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River’s Zane Grey Museum in Lackawaxen will remain closed until further notice, following guidance from the White House, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and state and local public health authorities. The museum was the home of Pearl Zane Grey (1872-1939), an American author and dentist best known for his popular adventure novels and stories associated with the Western genre in literature and the arts. The National Park Service says it is working service-wide with federal, state, and local public health authorities to closely monitor the COVID-19 pandemic and using a phased approach to increase access on a park-by-park basis.
