Pike man in Port drug arrest

    PORT JERVIS, N.Y. — Port Jervis City Police arrested Jeremy Maun, age 25, of Matamoras, and Carolee Ruzanski, age 21, of Gordon Street, Port Jervis, and charged them with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree (felony) and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument (misdemeanor). The arrests were based upon an investigation into a suspicious vehicle on Gordon Street on Feb. 19, at 11:40 p.m., where officers recovered 38 decks of heroin. Both defendants was subsequently held overnight in the city lock up and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail for Ruzanski and $7,500 cash bail for Maun.
