Pike man in Port drug arrest

PORT JERVIS, N.Y. Port Jervis City Police arrested Jeremy Maun, age 25, of Matamoras, and Carolee Ruzanski, age 21, of Gordon Street, Port Jervis, and charged them with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the fourth degree (felony) and criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument (misdemeanor). The arrests were based upon an investigation into a suspicious vehicle on Gordon Street on Feb. 19, at 11:40 p.m., where officers recovered 38 decks of heroin. Both defendants was subsequently held overnight in the city lock up and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $10,000 cash bail for Ruzanski and $7,500 cash bail for Maun.
