On Jan. 6, at around 5:02 p.m., police responded to a report of a car crash on Route 6 in Milford Township involving a Kia Seltos and a GMC Sierra truck. The police report said the Kia was traveling west when the driver, a 54-year-old man from Shohola, “attempted to reach items that fell to the floor of his vehicle, causing him to swerve into the eastbound lane.” The Kia then hit the side of the GMC truck, pushing the truck off the road. Both vehicles suffered damage and had to be towed, but no injuries were reported. The police report also noted that the driver of the Kia was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and was arrested.

The tractor trailer was reportedly traveling south on Route 739 nearing the intersection while the Cadillac was stopped at a stop sign at the intersection. The driver of the Cadillac, a 57-year-old man from Sussex, NJ, then allegedly pulled out onto Route 739 into the path of the tractor trailer, causing it to hit the side of the Cadillac. The driver of the Cadillac experienced injuries and was transported from the scene by Delaware Township Volunteer Ambulance Corps, per the police report.
