State police seek help locating hospital patient

On March 10 at around 12:30 p.m., authorities were notified of an incident involving Britney Marie Vandervort, a 24-year-old woman who fled from a scheduled medical appointment in Dickson City, Lackawanna County. According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Vandervort entered the office to check in and then fled the premises shortly after.

Vandervort is described as a white female, 5’1” tall, weighing 170 lbs., with brown hair and blue eyes. At the time of her disappearance, she was last seen wearing a black zip-up hoodie, black leggings, and sneakers.
