MILFORD — Delaware Valley High School defeated East Stroudsburg High School North in varsity baseball on Friday, April 8.
The final score was 10-4. The game took place at Delaware Valley High School in Milford, Pa.
The DV Warriors and East Stroudsburg Timberwolfs were tied 3-3 in the third inning. East Stroudsburg managed to move ahead by a point on an RBI, but the 4-3 edge was short lived. Delaware Valley's Zach Kain blasted a monster home run over the left field fence with a runner on base, pushing his team ahead 5-4.
Kain's home run got the momentum going in Delaware Valley's favor. The Warriors bats got hot, piling on five more points to seal the deal.
The win was the third straight for the Delaware Valley Warriors.
