The Delaware Valley High School girls’ varsity basketball team recently played Forest City and defeated them by a score of 52-26. Amanda Aragona scored 20 points and Brianna Waldron pulled down 10 rebounds.

Delaware Valley also played Wyoming Valley West and managed a 50-46 victory. Ciara Newton scored 16 points and Amanda Aragona put in 12 points. The varsity girls are now at 2-2 while the J.V. girls are undefeated at 4-0. Krystina Orby and Paris Machado are leading the charge for the J.V. girls.

Now I must correct an error. I had stated that Amanda Aragona was our super freshman. Well she was last year. This year she is our dynamic and super sophomore.

We have this year and then two more years to enjoy watching this sensational player grace our basketball court.
