Delaware Valley senior lacrosse player (attack) Joshua Balcarcel has signed with Marist College – Division I. Josh earned a roster spot on the Puerto Rico Men’s U19 National Lacrosse team that will play in the U19 World Lacrosse championships in Limerick, Ireland, in July 2020. As a junior, he was a team captain and earned the team’s MVP. In his junior year, he also scored 60 goals and had 43 assists to lead the team with 103 points. For three straight years, he was chosen as a Wyoming Valley Conference all-star. And for two years in a row, he was selected to the Times-Tribune All-Region team. Josh was a four-year varsity football player (running back) as well. He was a member of National Honor Society, class officer and a member of Student Council. He plans on majoring in business management. He is the son of Edwin and Ana Balcarcel of Milford.
