DV splashes Hanover

WESTFALL - The fourth swim meet of the 2005 DVHS swimming and diving season resulted in another victory for the Warrior boys’ and girls’ teams against Hanover on Jan. 4. The meet ended with a score of 125-60 for the girls and 140-35 for the boys. The girls placed first in twelve out of their thirteen events. Nissa Marione, Tracey Vitchers, Kiana Ramirez, Brittany Daggett, Sarah Navarro, and Keri Bensley were among the swimmers who won their races. The boys swimming team received first place in ten of twelve of their races. First place finishers of the boys’ swimming team are Steve Papandreou, Jordan Mulligan, Rusty Cook, Nick Zazula, and Mike Daggett. All of the relay teams for both boys and girls placed first in their respective events. The next home meet for the boys and girls swimming and diving teams in on Wednesday, Jan. 18 at 4:30.
