First-grader takes first place in youth wrestling

Six-year-old Jason Santiago of Matamoras, and a first grader at Delaware Valley Elementary School, took first place in the Penn League Youth Wrestling Championship Tournament in the 54-lb. weight class held at the Delaware Valley High School on January 27.

Santiago has been a part of the Delaware Valley Youth Warriors Wrestling Club for two years and has trained and practiced very hard in order to accomplish this goal he set out for himself! According to his father, Santiago plans to continue his training, so that by the time he reaches high school, he can win many state titles for the varsity wrestling team!
