Hemlock Sales sponsors belts for tournament championship

LORDS VALLEY - The Milford Masonic Charities Annual Karate tournament is set to take place on Sunday, May 21 at the Dingman Delaware Middle School from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.. Organizer, Shihan Fred Catanzariti of the Martial Arts Academy of Lords Valley organizes the event, said the annual tournament is open to the general public, welcomes martial arts schools from all over Pennsylvania, and raises money for several different charities. Diane Wertman of Hemlock Sales is sponsoring five championship belts for the upcoming tournament. Proceeds from the tournament will go to The Knights Templar Eye Foundation, as well as a High School student in need of a college scholarship. Several worthy families from the Delaware Valley school district are chosen each year to go on a Christmas shopping trip.
