Rising Stars win New Paltz Champions Cup

The Sporting Club Premier Hudson Valley soccer team, a.k.a. the Rising Stars, took home first place at the 2025 New Paltz Champions Cup on Feb. 2 in the girls’ 10-and-under division.

The travel squad, comprised of girls from Pike County, Pa., and Orange County, NY, eked out Capital City Bravery 1-0 for the title, and let in just one goal all day. It was the team’s second tournament victory of the winter.
