Sean Prudhoe and Isabella Wood honored as scholar-athletes

Sean Prudhoe and Isabella Wood (pictured), Delaware Valley High School scholar-athletes, were honored at the Orange County Interscholastic Athletic Association's annual breakfast at Kuhl's Highland House in Middletown, N.Y. This ceremony was started in the 1997-98 school year, with 29 schools from four counties — Orange, Ulster and Sullivan in New York and Pike County in Pennsylvania — represented. Each high school selects one male and one female scholar-athlete to be honored. Sean Prudhoe (swimming) is ranked #5 in his class with a 4.56 GPA and plans to attend Penn State to major in physics and mathematics. Isabella Wood (volleyball) is ranked #8 in her class with a 4.42 GPA and plans to attend either Lehigh or Muhlenberg to major in finance.
