‘Swim Summer' program was a relief

Fall program will begin soon WESTFALL - Many Delaware Valley School District residents took advantage of a great place to beat the heat the first few weeks of this summer at the school’s natatorium’s community swim. Every Tuesday and Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m., the pool has been open to children and adults alike from the community. Even those outside of the district could purchase pool passes from the Delaware Valley Adult and Community Education office (DV ACE), the organization that runs the program. A lap swim was also held on these days from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Last Thursday was the pool’s last community swim for the summer, but the pool will re-open in the fall. Starting the last week of September, the community swim will be held on Friday evenings from 6 to 8 p.m. and the lap swim on Tuesday and Thursday from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Anyone interested in available lessons or for more information can contact the DV ACE at 296-3615.
