State looks at transportation funding reform

    HARRISBURG - The state’s Transportation Funding and Reform Commission is looking at options to improve public transit, highways and bridges and their underlying funding. The commission is holding four meetings beginning in January in Pittsburgh and will continue at locations across the state. Besides the Jan. 26 meeting in Pittsburgh, the commission will meet on March 23 in Harrisburg; May 18 in Philadelphia; and July 20 in Harrisburg. Forms for submitting testimony are available by e-mailing the commission at tfrc@state.pa.us, or by mailing Allen D. Biehler, P.E., Secretary of Transportation, Executive Office, P.O.
