Teacher Appreciation Day at Staples

MILFORD - Each year, America’s teachers ensure their students have the tools they need to succeed in school. Staples (Nasdaq: SPLS) wants to make it easy for teachers to have the tools they need to do their job and is offering a thank you and a cool tool preview during its 2006 Teacher Appreciation Day. Staples is hosting Teacher Appreciation Day from 9 a.ra. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, at 88 of its Pennsylvania stores. The first 200 teachers visiting participating Staples stores on Teacher Appreciation Day will receive a Staples gift bag containing an academic planner, supplies and valuable coupons. Teachers will also have the opportunity to preview new tools like the write-on board squeegee and lined Post-It notes, as well as find information on Recycle for Education (www,staplesrecyclefored.com), a program that has raised $2 million for schools nationwide.
