Travel the PEEC-A-BOO' trail Saturday
Combining Halloween and a childrens’ learning experience DINGMANS FERRY - Looking for something interesting for your little ghouls to do this year? Take them to the Pocono Environmental Education Center’s (P.E.E.C.) annual PEEC-A-BOO Halloween Trail in Dingmans Ferry, on Saturday, Oct. 28, from 3 to 9 p.m. Follow your guide around the center’s family-friendly Halloween Trail. Learn about creatures of the night, whoooo lives in the forest, and much more during the tour on the enchanted trail. You will even have the chance to listen to a story around the campfire. You and your family will also enjoy fun crafts and entertainment before and after your journey on the trail. Guided Halloween trails run every 15 minutes and the approximate time on the trail is 45 minutes. Reservations are highly recommended to ensure a trail time, and the event will be held rain or shine. Trail times are filling up quickly, so call the center today to reserve a time for your family at 570-828-2319. School and Scout Groups are also welcome. The cost is $5 per person and children 3 years and under are free. Refreshments will be available for an additional fee throughout the day. The center is located in the Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area off of Route 209 between Bushkill and Milford.
