Woman killed in three-car collision
CONKLIN, N.Y. - A woman was killed and five others injured in a three-car collision on the night of May 17, police said. Tammy Postl, 35, of Binghamton, was driving southbound on Route 7 near Conklin in Broome County at about 6 p.m. when 19-year-old Jeanine Dreimann of Milford, Pa. failed to yield the right of way at an intersection and struck Postl’s vehicle. The impact sent Postl’s car into the northbound lane, where it was struck by a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Jenna Arsenault of Conklin. Postl was pronounced dead at the scene by Broome County Coroner John Prindle. Postl’s 7-year-old son was treated for minor injuries. Also treated for minor injuries were Arsenault and her 3-year-old daughter, Dreimann and her passenger, John Smith, of Bath, Pa. Dreimann was issued a traffic ticket for failure to yield right of way at an intersection, according to state police in Binghamton.
