Bridge Bob is leaving

To the editor: Bob Andretta, a weekend, midnight shift toll taker at the Dingmans Bridge is re-locating to North Carolina. A retired New York City Police lieutenant and resident of Sunrise Lakes for the last seven years, Bob has been dispensing humor and fatherly advise to motorists while accepting their tolls. Many motorists have shown their appreciation by bringing him coffee, pastries, even hats. We will miss you Bob and wish you and your wife Connie all of the best.
