Matt and Anita Hauschild of Port Jervis were invited to the inauguration of Donald Trump by the Trump Inaugural Committee. The Hauschilds traveled to Washington, D.C. to pick up their inauguration invitation in person as directed by emails received from Team Trump. The invitation package they picked up included the formal invitation, the event program, a signed photo of Donald J. Trump, a signed photo of JD Vance, and two entry tickets to the inauguration.
They traveled back to Washington, D.C. on Sunday, Jan. 19 to ensure that they would arrive in time to attend the indoor inaugural festivities at the Capital One Arena on Jan 20.
“The arena was packed to the rafters and the excitement was palpable throughout. It was an honor to have been invited to the inauguration and to have been in attendance at such a historic event!” the couple shared.
