To the Editor:
While the focus on day or short-term rentals is good, there should also be a move to close all campgrounds.
Many campgrounds are now near their summer levels of visitors from New Jersey and New York. This should not be allowed. They are putting more strain on a health system in our area that is limited to begin with. It is also causing shortages in the local food markets.
Close all campgrounds in Pike County now!
