Thank you to the Pike community for the care you showed our daughter
To the Editor:
We want to take a moment to say a heartfelt “thank you” to the entire Pike County community.
My daughter Jenell Nani started her store, Nani’s Closet, here just a few short years ago. She loved this community. She made friends and connections here. You all welcomed her into your corner of the world with open arms.
There was nothing she loved more than bringing her son, Thomas, to work with her. He got to meet friends and be with his mom, his two favorite things to do. When Jenell got sick, you all reached out to support her. Your kind words of encouragement strengthened her. Your generous fundraisers touched our hearts to no end.
We want you all to know how much we appreciate the way you cared for Jenell. It means the world to us. We would also like you to know that even though Jenell is no longer with us, we are still here running the store in her image. Nani’s Closet will remain a family-run, family-friendly, small business here in Pike County.
We are hosting a Labor Day Customer Loyalty Event over the Labor Day Weekend, more details will follow on our Facebook page.
Our heartfelt gratitude to you all, and we look forward to meeting every one of you.
