To the Editor:
The developer says, "You'll like my development. I do very nice work."
So, also says the baker and the candlestick-maker.
The issue is not the appearance, it's the aftermath.
The three planned 36-unit buildings, with at least a multiple of two people each, will sit on a sea of macadam and concrete, cause 200-car traffic, bring a fourth lane to our historic three-lane, string up another couple of stoplights, add to the fleet of school buses twice-a-day, clog entrances to the borough, tarnish our historic, peaceful, outdoor recreation tourism, and deflate our love of community.
The residents of the borough and township have spoken. They are in extreme opposition to extreme density development. Organic, moderate growth works, which has been successfully executed by prior supervisor boards for decades.
This issue is about loss of preservation, the loss of what we had.
We all need to speak out, sign petitions, and attend meetings. It's that important.
Save Milford. Save our country living.
