We are living through a war. This war is with an unseen enemy. We fear going out as we may bring back the virus, yet we need to go to market. We feel that our local, state and federal governmental agencies have failed us. We feel so alone left to die at some point. This should not be. We are failing as human beings. Perhaps those who survive will learn that being human beings we must take care of all humans. We need our family, friends and neighbors.
Donna and I feel so sad that other people who do not have a cell phone or the internet are lost and do not know what to do. The local government agencies should send each resident an essenial checklist as to where to go and what to do. Instead we get a call telling us that that the census is due! Da!!
Being senior citizens we are surviving better than most as we have lived through very hard times and have learned from part experiences. America has not experienced a war on our soil in our life time and lack that experience of that. However, the devastating weather events have changed the lives of many people in our country.
We now know that if we as human beings the world over do not come together as one to deal with the helping our environment to enable us to survive we may not have many more decades to live.
The bottom line is that Donna and I have tried so hard to do something as relates to the pandemic of tick borne diseases. We knew something like COVID-19 was not if but when!
This is a wake-up call to human life on the Planet Earth.
