Treason in search of a crime

To the Editor:

Treason...No. Bribery...No. Obstruction of Congress (that is not a crime), insulting witnesses (that is not a crime). It may not be nice, but it’s not a crime.

“Impeach Forty Five Impeach Forty Five” (Maxine Waters) and they have been trying before Forty Five was elected. Or how about this one Impeach The M F’er (Rashida Talib). Liberals Democrats and Socialists have been trying to turn the election around and the votes of 63 million people who elected Donald Trump to be president. (We are the people and you work for us not the other way around.) OK OK Hillary got more votes but all of them from California, maybe, just maybe she should run for president of California.

But on a serious note I read the article on Matt Cartwright in the Courier and it struck a chord. In it, he says the President has refused to sit before Congress and answer their questions and considering what they tried to do To Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh. I do not blame him, because that is exactly what they would do to the President. But now Nancy Pelosi wants a guarantee from Mitch McConnell that Democrats would get fair treatment on impeachment in the Senate (you mean just like the fair treatment you gave the president in the house) because that is exactly what they would do to the president.

In your letter Mr. Matt Cartwright, you said you had not heard from President Trump and you probably would not believe him anyway, because Jerry Nadler and Adam Schiff were running kangaroo courts; guilty until proven innocent. 30-40 million dollars, nobody knows the exact amount. However maybe that money would have been better spent on feeding the poor or subsidizing college tuition for those in need. (That is where you say our tax dollars go...right.) But instead we have to eliminate a duly elected president (elected by the people and not Congress).

You people in Washington sit in your ivory towers looking down at the peons you are supposed to protect and laugh. Yes Mr. Cartwright you took an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution which Liberals always like to tell us that is what they are doing (that’s a convenient excuse and works well on the circuit) but what they are doing is tearing the country apart for their own political benefit. Then you had a change of heart and decided to hop on the Impeachment Train (most likely because you we’re promised something from Nancy). You people must think we the American people are rubes and cannot run our own lives. (Think again.)

The president has stimulated the economy erected a wall that protects our country from illegals (Especially MS 13), the stock market is at an all time high, unemployment is down and black unemployment is down as well, many jobs have returned to America. He talks with foreign leaders (he must be a communist). No that is common sense.

“Keep your friends close and your enemies closer.” This impeachment has been justice in search of a crime, just like it was with Brett Kavanaugh, and you people won’t even stop after Trump is re-elected, you will continue to badger him until and if you can get him out of office. Some of us are watching Washington and you along with your Democratic liberal friends are tearing America apart. Geesh let’s try Lizzie Warren, or Bernie Sanders, or Sleepy Joe Biden. Maybe they will fix the country. I got news for you the country has never been in better shape and one more thing...is Trump perfect? No, I don’t believe so. Nobody is perfect but he is just what this country needed. You can’t see that though because you people have your heads so far up your keester, you can see daylight. In the movie “The Untouchables,” Al Capone bought off the jury, but in this day and age George Soros buys off the liberals and the socialists.
