Milford. 2025 ‘Members Choice’ Invitational Art Exhibit opens

| 09 Apr 2025 | 08:11

During April, the ARTery Gallery will feature ten artists from the region who are not members of the gallery.

This exhibit provides an opportunity for gallery members and visitors to enjoy the work of other regional artists and to share the beautiful exhibit space and unique opportunities that the ARTery provides to the region - a cooperative, where each member contributes their own unique energy and ideas, lending to the gallery’s dynamic, evolving and enduring tenure.

To select the participants for this member curated exhibit, each gallery member voted on their favorite artist from the 2024 Juried Exhibit which consisted of more than artists.

Because this Invitational is limited to ten artists, each participant will have a large display area for their new and different work. The many styles and genre of work to be exhibited includes stylish modern jewelry, complex beaded jewelry, vases and bowls embellished with kaleidoscopic design, decorative and representational paintings and evocative photographs.

The selected artists are: Mary Ardan, Toni Chaplin, Madelyn Livoti Garstak, Keith Helwig, Patricia MacDonald, Craig McKay, Bethany Montana, Todd Newman, Rhonda Niski and Joanne Wirths.

The collection runs from April 10 through May 5. Gallery hours are Thursdays through Mondays 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The public is welcome to join the artists at the wine and cheese reception on Saturday, April 12, from 6 to 9 p.m.

The ARTery Gallery is a cooperatively owned and operated fine art gallery located at 210 Broad St., Milford, in the historic Forest Hall building. Call (570) 409-1234 or visit arterygallerymilford.com.
