Nancy R. Sloan, 73 of Milford, Pa., passed away Wednesday, March 26, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Nancy was a secretary for self-storage and for many years owned a housekeeping business. She was an advocate for Milford’s Safe Haven.
She loved spending her time indulging in music and the arts. Nancy was passionate about cooking, reading, drawing, journaling and the old traditional lace making/tatting.
She was fascinated by European history and a collector.
What she loved the most was spending time with her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and she always taught the beauty of life to them.
She was known for her positive optimism and wonderful outlook on life, and never judged. Her welcoming demeanor was comforting. She will be missed by many.
Daughter of George and Muriel (Cochran) Cameron, Nancy was born Sept. 13, 1951, in Jersey City, N.J. She was married to John W. Sloan.
Nancy is survived by her daughter Marcy Williams and her husband Landon Williams, of Milford, Pa.; sons, Jesse Sloan and his wife Jami Sloan of Lords Valley, Pa., and Cory Sloan and his wife Jennifer Sloan of Dingmans Ferry, Pa.; brother George Cameron and his wife Olga; sister Janet Hamilton; her five grandchildren: Kiley, Ashley, Jacinda, Eisley and Marley, and many nieces and nephews.
The family received friends April 2 at the Stroyan Funeral Home, 405 W. Harford St., Milford, Pa.
