Paint the Town, Hawley announces that the winning artwork in its Viewer’s Choice competition is “Cozy Winter Studio Dreams” by artist Catiebelle Bulmer.
This painting will be reproduced on one of Paint the Town’s 12 new art banners for 2025. The competition’s jury selected 11 artworks from 80 submissions by 31 regional artists.
Then, members of the public submitted more than 300 votes and selected Bulmer’s art for the 12th new banner.
Paint the Town has also released the full list of artists whose art was selected for 2025 banners: Catiebelle Bulmer, Jill Carletti, Barbara Carpenito, Tom Holmes, Rich Klein, Lilli Millon, Adam Parkes, Michael Seiden, Ellen Silberlicht, Connor Simon, Raul Vega and Kathe Williams.
The new 2025 banners will be installed in May 2025 in time for the Hawley Memorial Day Parade. The 2024 banners will be re-installed then as well.
Art images will be confidential until the banner installation. At that time, details about individual artists and their work will also be available on the Paint the Town webpage.
Paint the Town, Hawley is an art project in Hawley, Pa. led by the Wayne County Arts Alliance in collaboration with the Downtown Hawley Partnership and the Foundation for Harmony Presents.
