Milford. Good Friday Community Walk of the Cross in Milford scheduled for April 18

On Friday, April 18, the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and Milford United Methodist Church invite the community to participate in the Good Friday Community Walk of the Cross.

This solemn walk will begin at 10: a.m., starting at the Good Shepherd Episcopal Church located at 110 W. Catharine St. in Milford.

The Walk of the Cross is a time-honored tradition that brings together people of all faiths to reflect on the journey of Christ’s final moments. This year’s walk will take participants through various locations in Milford, with readings each celebrating the Passion and Death of Jesus in the Way of the Cross according to Luke.

“This walk is a powerful way for our community to come together in reflection and prayer,” said Liz Steen, church administrator for the Milford United Methodist Church. “We invite everyone to join us in this meaningful Good Friday tradition. The walk provides an opportunity for unity and renewal.”

The event is open to all and will be conducted rain or shine. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended, and participants are encouraged to bring their family and friends.
