Local painter charged with theft by deception
Milford. After an arrest warrant was issued, Vincenzio Pascavage turned himself in.

The Pike County District Attorney’s Office announced that Vincenzio Pascavage of Pascavage Painting LLC had turned himself in on March 4 after the DA’s office issued a warrant for his arrest back in January.
According to the DA’s office, in July 2024, Pascavage submitted a proposal to the Pike County Correctional Facility with his company, Pascavage Painting LLC, for work to be completed. Pascavage allegedly deposited the $10,000 check but never completed the work.
He was then charged with “theft by deception - false impression” and “deceptive business practices.” On January 14, 2025, the DA’s office issued a warrant for his arrest. Then on March 4, he surrendered himself before Magisterial District Judge Randy Schmalzle, who set bail at $25,000 unsecured. The case was scheduled for a preliminary hearing on March 18, 2025, at 9 a.m.
