The Upper Delaware Council (UDC) is grateful for the 36 sponsors who are fiscally investing a collective $6,000 in a cleaner environment by making the 2nd Annual Upper Delaware Litter Sweep a reality.
As Litter Leaders organize clean-ups between April 22-30 in each of the 15 New York towns and Pennsylvania townships surrounding the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River, there is still time to physically volunteer.
Those willing to help should provide their names and desired locations to UDC Secretary Ashley Hall-Bagdonas at 845-252-3022 or ashley@upperdelawarecouncil.org. In return, Litter Sweep participants will receive a commemorative t-shirt, supplies, and disposal instructions.
The safety-colored shirt with the Litter Sweep eagle logo created from original artwork by Happy Tattoo proprietor Dan Nelson will celebrate the following sponsors who contributed money or services to support this Earth Day-inspired event.
